He noted that it is very possible that the chlorine was a result <br /> of the Trailside Estates project. <br /> Tim Houle informed the Council that it was determined that Trailside <br /> Estates did not complete the required bacteria testing prior to introducing <br /> the water into the City system. He noted that the City has shut the water <br /> off and is in the process of doing the testing. He indicated that when the <br /> testing is completed, and if results are negative for bacteria, the water will <br /> be turned on. <br /> Tim Houle indicated that a punch list has been completed for the Trailside <br /> Estates plat. He noted that the punch list is quite extensive and will take <br /> some time to correct the items on the list. Tim Houle noted that an <br /> extension of August 29th has been granted to the developer. <br /> Tim Houle noted that the South Oak and Gravdahl Drive projects are <br /> nearly complete. He indicated that the City Engineers underestimated the <br /> amount of bituminous needed for South Oak Street, therefore the final bid <br /> amount will be higher than anticipated. <br /> Tim Houle discussed the Brown Street and South Oak intersection stop <br /> signs. He indicated that the stop signs should not be used to slow traffic. <br /> The Council asked that the Police Chief and Street Supervisor review the <br /> need for the signs. <br /> Mayor Malecha indicated that she would like staff to present a policy to the <br /> Council that requires the City to use its own engineers on all City road and <br /> infrastructure projects. <br /> 14. Adjournment <br /> There being no further business, COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED <br /> TO ADJOURN. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION.
