Park Board Minutes <br /> June 14, 2007 <br /> Page 3 <br /> ------------------------- <br /> CHAIR ANDERSON RECOMMENDED AN EXPENDITURE $8,221.00 + <br /> SHIPPING + TAX FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE PLAYGROUND <br /> EQUIPMENT FOR THE TRAILSIDE PARK AND THAT THE FUNDS <br /> COME FROM THE PARK DEDICATION FUND. COMMISSIONER <br /> JURCHEN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> Mike Loven will take measurements to Corky Smith since he is starting to <br /> install his irrigation system tomorrow. <br /> Discussion was held regarding naming the park. Everyone is asked to <br /> bring ideas to next months meeting. <br /> 6. Other Business <br /> Discussion was held regarding Commissioner Koslofsky's attendance at <br /> the monthly meetings. The Board expressed its need for active members. <br /> Mike Loven informed the Board that Well's Fargo is adding dirt to <br /> the Bobber Park area today. Therefore, they need to know tomorrow <br /> where the Park Board want's tree's located and what they want to do to <br /> keep cars off the grass. Mike recommended curbing on the north & east <br /> `., side to keep cars out of the Park area. <br /> Mike informed the Park Board that the Power Company can not go <br /> underground with the electricity due to buried gas lines. They must go <br /> overhead at a cost of approximately $485.00. <br /> Mayor Malecha has asked the Fire Department wives if they would be <br /> interested in maintaining the area around the gazebo. <br /> The Board Members moved the meeting to the Bobber Park. They <br /> members discussed location of trees, sod, and sprinkling system. The <br /> Board gave Mike Loven direction to proceed with working with Wells <br /> Fargo on the Park improvements. <br /> 6. Adiournment <br /> There being no further business, COMMISSIONER JURCHEN MOVED <br /> TO ADJOURN. COMMISSIONER TWEED SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 3-0. <br /> The meeting of the Park Board adjourned at 5:45 p.m. <br />
