City Council Minutes July 3, 2007 Page 9 of 10 ---------------------------- COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF A PICK UP TRUCK THROUGH THE STATE PURCHASING COOP AT $26,499.77 AND THAT THE TRUCK IS FUNDED THROUGH THE ROADS AND STREETS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGETAND FURTHER THAT THE EXISTING TRUCK BE SOLD. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 11.3. Installation of 911 Signs Mike Loven requested Council authorization to complete the purchase and installation of 911 signs throughout the City. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF THE BALANCE OF THE 911 SIGNS AT APPROXIMATELY$3,500 TO BE FUNDED FROM THE ROADS AND STREETS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 11.4. Cole Memorial Building Floor Refinishing Mike Loven requested authorization to hire Ganske's quality painting to finish the wood floors at the Cole Memorial Building at $3,454. He noted that the City has received donations in the amount of$3,195 so far for the project. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ACCEPT THE QUOTE OF $3,454 FROM GANSKE'S QUALITY PAINTING TO COMPLETE THE FLOORS AT THE COLE MEMORIAL BUILDING. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. 11.5. Nagel Right-of-Way Funds Mike Loven noted that in 2005 the Council voted to designate $25,000 for the Nagel Road right-of-way purchase. He stated that it has become obvious that this purchase will not take place and requested the Council to re-designate the $25,000 for the South Oak Street right-of-way purchase.
