City Council Minutes <br /> July 3, 2007 <br /> Page 9 of 10 <br /> ---------------------------- <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br /> PURCHASE OF A PICK UP TRUCK THROUGH THE STATE <br /> PURCHASING COOP AT $26,499.77 AND THAT THE TRUCK IS <br /> FUNDED THROUGH THE ROADS AND STREETS CAPITAL <br /> IMPROVEMENT BUDGETAND FURTHER THAT THE EXISTING <br /> TRUCK BE SOLD. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11.3. Installation of 911 Signs <br /> Mike Loven requested Council authorization to complete the purchase and <br /> installation of 911 signs throughout the City. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE <br /> AND INSTALLATION OF THE BALANCE OF THE 911 SIGNS AT <br /> APPROXIMATELY$3,500 TO BE FUNDED FROM THE ROADS AND <br /> STREETS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11.4. Cole Memorial Building Floor Refinishing <br /> Mike Loven requested authorization to hire Ganske's quality painting to <br /> finish the wood floors at the Cole Memorial Building at $3,454. He noted <br /> that the City has received donations in the amount of$3,195 so far for the <br /> project. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ACCEPT THE QUOTE OF <br /> $3,454 FROM GANSKE'S QUALITY PAINTING TO COMPLETE THE <br /> FLOORS AT THE COLE MEMORIAL BUILDING. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> ORASKOVICH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 11.5. Nagel Right-of-Way Funds <br /> Mike Loven noted that in 2005 the Council voted to designate $25,000 for <br /> the Nagel Road right-of-way purchase. He stated that it has become <br /> obvious that this purchase will not take place and requested the Council to <br /> re-designate the $25,000 for the South Oak Street right-of-way purchase. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO RE-DESIGNATE THE NAGEL <br /> ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY CAPITAL OUTLAY CARRYOVER FUNDS OF <br /> $25,000 FOR SOUTH OAK RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE ROADS AND <br /> �.. STREETS CAPITAL OUTLAY CARRYOVER ACCOUNT. COUNCIL <br />
