ark Board Minutes <br /> January 11, 2007 <br /> Page 2 <br /> MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER JURCHEN TO ACCEPT <br /> THE MAP AS IT IS AND WILL NOTIFY THE PLANNING AND ZONING <br /> ADMINISTRATOR OF ANY CHANGES THEY WOULD LIKE MADE. <br /> VICE CHAIRMAN TWEED SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0, <br /> 5. Park Dedication for Nordenstua Plat <br /> Scott Pederson was present at the meeting. Discussion was held <br /> regarding park dedication for the Nordenstua Plat. The Zoning <br /> Administrator requested a recommendation from the Park Board regarding <br /> park dedication. The Board discussed the following options: <br /> 1. A Park Dedication Fee be paid; or <br /> 2. A proposed trail along with a Park Dedication Fee; or <br /> 3. A trail along with efforts to connect the trail in the future. <br /> The Board had concerns regarding maintenance, feasibility, accessibility <br /> and snowmobiles in relation to the trail. Chair Anderson noted that the <br /> Park Board would like to be consistent in requiring a 10% park dedication <br /> fee. <br /> MOTION MADE BY CHAIR ANDERSON TO ACCEPT A PARK <br /> DEDICATION FEE OF 10% OF $55,900.00. VICE CHAIRMAN TWEED <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-1. <br /> 6. Bobber Park Update <br /> Discussion was held regarding the construction of a boat for in the park. <br /> Commissioner Koslofsky suggest having a large boat built. Commissioner <br /> Koslofsky will have information regarding the school shop class build the <br /> boat, cost etc. at the February Board meeting. <br /> Discussion was also held regarding the Paul Bunyan chair for the park. <br /> Commissioner Koslofsky will contact Lonesome Cottage and have <br /> information at the February meeting regarding cost. <br /> 7. Use of the Gazebo <br /> The Historical Society is asking permission to use the Gazebo on July 4th <br /> to plug in cookers for sloppy joes. <br />
