MONTHLY STAFF REPORT <br /> IN� City Clerk's Office <br /> February and March, 2007 <br /> Meetings <br /> Feb. 1 Meeting at Region 5 in Staples (with Council Member Sjoblad) <br /> Feb. 2 MCFOA (Minnesota Clerks and Finance Officers Regional Meeting in <br /> Brainerd) <br /> Feb 6 Hwy 371 Meeting <br /> Feb 6 Regular Council Meeting <br /> Feb 8 Monthly Safety Board Meeting <br /> Feb 8 Park Board Meeting <br /> Feb 8 Monthly Staff Meeting <br /> Feb 12 Budget Meetings with Department Heads <br /> Feb 16 —Mar 2 Clerk on Vacation <br /> Mar 7 Chamber Meeting <br /> Mar 8 Park Board Meeting <br /> Mar 9 Meeting at School Regarding Strategic Planning for School <br /> Mar 12 Monthly Budget Meetings with Department Heads <br /> Mar 15 Meeting with HealthPartners and NJPA <br /> Mar 15 Meeting with Sheila Haverkamp and Elissa Rogers of BLADC <br /> Mar 26—28 Auditors Present for Annual Audit <br /> Projects/Issues <br /> Water Sewer Rate Study Proposals <br /> Proposals have been received. I have reviewed the proposals and did reference checks on <br /> the company that the committee is recommending to do the study. <br /> Audit <br /> The Deputy City Clerk has put in many hours pulling together information for the <br /> Auditors. The Auditors commented that her efforts have made the audit process more <br /> streamlined. The Auditors were present during the last week of March. <br /> Safety Grant/Cole Memorial Grant <br /> The City received the funds for the Safety Grant. All safety equipment has been <br /> purchased in the water/wastewater department, fire department and street department. <br /> The Cole Memorial project is underway and hopefully will be completed soon. <br /> Hwy 371 <br /> The City staff is continuing to coordinate the Highway 371 meetings with the Planning <br /> Commission and City Council. The Zoning Administrator is doing a majority of the work <br /> such as coordinating meetings, compiling packet information, sending out meeting <br /> notices and compiling minutes of the meetings. <br />
