City of <br /> PEQVOT <br /> -;z_ <br /> LAKES MEMO <br /> TO: Mayor Malecha and City Council <br /> FROM: Dawn Bittner, Zoning Administrator <br /> DATE: January 31, 2007 <br /> RE: Park Dedication Appeal from Scott Pederson <br /> Nordenstua on Sibley <br /> The Park Board met on January 11, 2007 and made a <br /> recommendation to the Planning Commission to accept a Park <br /> Dedication Fee in the amount of$55,900.00, or 10% of the land <br /> value. The vote was 4 "ayes" and 1 "nay". The Park Board has <br /> consistently made this recommendation: <br /> Keen Addition, 10% = $3,210; 6 lots = $535 per lot. <br /> Island Vista, 10% = $15,203; 7 lots = $2,172 per lot. <br /> Buschmann Addition — Park Dedication waived, HRA project. <br /> Wilderness Point, recommended 10% = $75,410; Planning <br /> Commission reduced to $23,000 or $500 per unit. <br /> Trailside Estates Park Dedication Was negotiated and included in <br /> their Development Agreement: Land value (.42 acre), gazebo, <br /> benches, mulch, lights, trees, sod, and sprinkling system. Staff <br /> estimates the value of their Park Dedication to be approximately <br /> $38,440. The City is to provide playground equipment and <br /> maintenance. This is a City Park, open to all residents. <br />
