Staff to acquire more information and report back to the Planning Commission in 2 <br /> months. <br /> Mr. Williams stated that Section 12.1 of the Ordinance states"upon conviction". <br /> A motion was made by John Derksen, seconded by Tom Adams, directing staff to put <br /> together a fine structure for zoning violations for the City Council to review. After <br /> discussion,Mr. Derksen withdrew his motion and Mr. Adams withdrew his second. <br /> The Planning Commission directed Staff to work with the Police Chief and make <br /> recommendations on the Fee Schedule and possible Ordinance amendments. <br /> Administrative Fines: <br /> Discussed above. <br /> Mark Schoeb—Temporary Structure: <br /> Staff explained that Mr. Schoeb would like to place a temporary office at the site of his <br /> used car lot until the construction of his permanent office is complete. A temporary <br /> structure existing longer than 14 days must be reviewed by the Planning Commission. <br /> He is requesting permission to use the temporary office from August 15 to November 15, <br /> 2006. <br /> A motion was made by Mark Hallan, seconded by Tom Adams, to permit the use of a <br /> temporary structure to be used as an office be limited to 500 square feet in size. All <br /> members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Downtown Plan: <br /> Mr. Marohn stated that the text is being edited and will be forwarded to the City Council <br /> in August. <br /> Robert's Rules: <br /> The Planning Commission discussed the format that the City Council uses. Making a <br /> motion before discussion is not as inviting to the public in a public hearing. The DMU <br /> rezoning will be on the next months Agenda. <br /> Extractive Use Overlay District: <br /> Terry Curtis had requested to be notified when this would be discussed.
