Lakes Area Crafters Mark t ?�, ! av Dear Crafter, v We are planning to build two large 80' x 300' buildings along ide each other to be oper ed as a seasonal crafters market in the heart of Minnesota's lakes & vacation ea. Completion is s eduled for Spring 2007. The market will be open approximately June 15 thru Labo ay, Wednesd hru Sunday. "Please" take a moment to read this information sheet and fill out the po et us know your thoughts and wishes. The$2.00 is a small token of our appreciation for taking a moment out of your busy day. It is planned that the Crafters Market will have the following attributes: • All seasonal spots are indoor 10' x 10' spots. • Electric will be available for a nominal amount. • Ample parking. • We expect many crafters may choose to not'man' their booths at all times; therefore, consignment sales will be handled properly &efficiently. Please refer to the followin schedule: CONSIGNMENT FEE SCHEDULE Sales Item—Amount$ % Total $ 0-5 12% $ 5- 10 11% $ 10-20 10% $ 20-50 9% $ 50- 100 8% $ 100-500 7% $ 500+ 6% th • Consignment sales will be paid to crafters by the 10 of the following month. • There is a $40,000 advertising budget. • Many seasonal or weekend camping spots are available on numerous local lakes. • All exhibitors must sell only hand made in America items. • Large landscaped & shaded "husband"waiting area. • Convenient locations on U.S. Highway 371 between busy and popular"up north" shopping towns of Nisswa & Pequot Lakes. • An indoor 10' x 10' well lit booth from approximately June 15 thru Labor Day, open Wednesday thru Sunday, will rent for approximately $1600-$1700 for the entire season. • There will be approximately 173 10' x 10' indoor booth locations. • Security will be provided 24—7. • Spots located along the outside wall will have a peg-board wall to mount shelving &displays. • All spots (perimeter or center)will be able to rent good looking and functional 3' W x 18" D x 5'H shelving for a nominal amount. 3 Special Weekends • The 3rd weekends of June, July & August will be advertised "Special" weekends. • The fee for these 3 "Special" weekends is included in the seasonal rent if you rented for the June 15 thru Labor Day season. • Some Crafters may choose to not rent a booth for the season, but may choose to participate in these 3 "Special" weekends Friday—Sunday. This is o.k. • The rent for one or two of these"Special"weekends is $250 each or$600 for all three. • These spots are outside under the canopies of these 2 large buildings. The spots are 10'W x 8'D under a 12' canopy. • Electricity will be available at a nominal amount. • Seasonal renters will have priority for the inside spots. If any inside spots are not rented for the season, then the"Special" weekend crafters will be able to secure an inside booth on a first come —first serve basis.
