After verification with the Planning Commission, we will be <br /> following the City's Policy for Issuance of Administrative Fines for Zoning Offenses, <br /> which was adopted by the City Council on April 3, 2007. <br /> i <br /> As opposed to formally citing you at this time for a violation of the Ordinance, we would <br /> like to make one final attempt to work with you to correct the situation. We are <br /> requesting that by no later than October 6,2007,you permanently remove this <br /> portable sign. If this sign is not removed by October 6,2007,the Police Department <br /> of the City of Pequot Lakes will issue an Administrative Fine in the amount of <br /> $100.00. You will then have ten(10) days in which to pay the fine or request a hearing. <br /> If you fail to pay the penalty and do not request a hearing, a misdemeanor charge will be <br /> brought against you. If after a hearing is held and you are found in violation, a State <br /> citation will be issued. <br /> Please note that each day the violation continues is a separate violation. If a party is <br /> charged with a subsequent administrative offense, within twelve months for the same or <br /> substantially similar offense, the subsequent administrative penalty shall be increased by <br /> 25%. <br /> You will be responsible to reimburse the City for any expenses incurred in <br /> remedying this violation. This would include any consultant fees or other <br /> professional services that City Staff determines is necessary, including but not <br />
