6 ' There are six bumps into the pipe noted in the video. The bumps were apparently not <br /> of the size that would prevent the mandrel from getting through. We are guessing that <br /> your crews did not keep all the rocks away from the pipe during backf ll. We believe that <br /> the pipe's integrity has not been comprised. However, one of these bumps is in the invert, <br /> and has the potential over time to be a maintenance issue. This needs to be excavated <br /> and repaired. <br /> We have reviewed the video and feel that there are no issues with the sewer main <br /> throughout the project. <br /> Item 3- Constructing ditching around the northwest cul-de-sac(station 0+00 to 0+60) <br /> Acceptable <br /> Item 4 - Construct by-pass lane on County Road#112 <br /> 1. All power poles adjacent to the bypass lane need to be re-located to the right-of-way. <br /> Minnesota Power&Light has staked to move these <br /> 2. The bypass lane needs to have striping placed. <br /> Striping will be done in the next couple weeks <br /> 3. A roadside ditch, while shallow, needs to be constructed along the bypass lane, as <br /> well as the ditch north of the bypass lane needs to be stabilized and turf established. <br /> The bypass lane has been constructed to the engineer plans <br /> Item 5- Remove and replace cracked concrete curb and gutter as noted: <br /> The City of Pequot Lakes will allow the saw-cutting of the cracks and filling with the <br /> Sealtight Futura-1 S, but reserves the right to comment on its suitability at each location <br /> after these repairs have been made. <br /> This has been done and ready to be inspected <br /> Item 6- Remove and replace 15 feet of concrete curb and gutter north of CB 4, provide <br /> positive drainage to the catch basin. <br /> CB 4 <br /> (inside edge of loop) -We will remove and replace curb and gutter enough to <br /> provide positive drainage to the catch basin. This will not involve any removal of <br /> pavement. <br /> CB 3 <br /> After checking grade to the south of CB 3 in 27" it drops Y- there is positive <br /> drainage. <br /> Item 8 - Install 15" GS apron and remove sediment from sump area (Trailside Loop <br /> Station 0+28): <br /> Acceptable - removed sediment from sump area <br /> Item 11 - Construct rip-rap channel at station 10+00 left. <br /> The shoulder has been purposely built up to channel water to spillway until turf is <br /> established.
