STAFF REPORT <br /> Item: Lakes Area Crafters Market,Rob Van Valkenburg: Servicing vs.Repair <br /> Agenda Item:6(b) <br /> Background: Staff has received complaints regarding the advertisement of boat repair at the <br /> Lakes Area Crafters Mall. Mr.Van Valkenburg received a Conditional Use Permit to operate the <br /> Crafters Mall during the summers and boat and recreational vehicle winterizing, detailing and <br /> servicing along with storage of these items during the winter months. <br /> Included in this Staff Report are copies of all Staff Reports,meeting Minutes and approval of the <br /> Conditional Use Permit, as well as the Land Use Application for the construction of the <br /> buildings. <br /> Action Requested: Staff is seeking a determination by the Planning Commission whether <br /> boat repair and servicing are synonymous. <br /> City of Pequot Lakes Staff Report 2-1 <br /> October 18,2007 <br />
