CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br /> Monday, May 7, 2007 at 6:30 PM <br /> Roll Call <br /> Tom Adams (Chair)Roger Varilek, John Derken, Bill Habein, Dean Williams <br /> Ryan Leister gives staff report <br /> Chairman Adams asks applicant for any information on application. <br /> Mr. Jordan states that the removal of brush and garbage behind the building is already <br /> taking place. <br /> Commissioner Williams asks if the new door will be an overhead door and if it will be a <br /> manual or electric door. <br /> Mr. Jordan states that yes it will be an overhead door and it may or may not be an electric <br /> door. <br /> Chairman Adams opens the discussion for the commission <br /> Commissioner Williams asks if the land will be purchased or rented and what side the <br /> brush will be removed from. <br /> Mr. Jordan states he will be leasing the property, and the removal will be on the west <br /> side. <br /> Chairman Adams asks what kind of property is adjacent to the land, it is stated that there <br /> are two vacant properties there. <br /> Commissioner Williams asks about mechanical work in the building. <br /> Mr. Jordam confirms that only detail work, and light mechanical work for sale of vehicles <br /> will take place. <br /> Commissioner Williams asks about signage on property. <br /> Ryan Leister confirms that the signs on the property are existing nonconforming signs <br /> and that they can be used by the property owner. <br /> Mr. Jordan states that he would use the existing signs. <br />
