The Keen Addition, <br /> located to the southwest of this plat, was in the Final Plat process and did not include any <br /> trail within that plat. The City does have park property directly to the north of Nordenstua <br /> on Sibley within the Field of Dreams plat. However,there is no way to connect to the <br /> Paul Bunyan Trail from the Field of Dreams plat without acquiring privately owned land. <br /> It is the Staff s recommendation that there is no land appropriate for land dedication. The <br /> proposed trail would be landlocked. The City has no plans to create a trail system or to <br /> acquire lands to do so. In addition to annual maintenance, Staff also has concerns <br /> regarding possible snowmobile traffic. <br /> Therefore, Staff recommends the following options: <br /> 1. A Park Dedication Fee be paid; or <br /> 2. The Park Board consider proposed trail along with a Park Dedication Fee; or <br /> 3.
