S.Mail <br /> One Copy by Certified Mail <br /> Ron Euerle <br /> 3930 Swift Street <br /> Pequot Lakes, MN 56472 <br /> Re: City of Pequot Lakes <br /> Notice of Violation <br /> Failing Subsurface Sewage Treatment System (SSTS) <br /> PIN: 291070070040009 <br /> Dear Mr. Euerle: <br /> It has come to our attention that you are likely in violation of the City's Ordinance for <br /> Sanitation Standards. <br /> The Ordinance states, in Section 17-4.4 NON-CONFORMING STRUCTURES AND <br /> USES, subpart 7,that "Sewage treatment systems shall be upgraded to a conforming <br /> status in conformance with the following schedule: <br /> D. Upon notice by the Zoning Administrator that the City's records indicate the <br /> system is non-conforming. " <br /> The Ordinance further states, in Section 17-7.7 SANITATION STANDARDS, (2) <br /> Domestic Sewage, (C) that "All dwellings or structures with plumbing shall be served by <br /> an individual or common sewage disposal system meeting the requirements of Minnesota <br /> Pollution Control Agency (Chapter 7080 of the Minnesota Administrative Rules) and <br /> Crow Wing County Ordinances, as amended, " and (D), "All non-conforming systems <br /> shall be brought into conformance. " <br /> You were issued a Notice of Non-Compliance on October 26, 2002. The City of Pequot <br /> Lakes has made several attempts to work with you to bring this SSTS into compliance. <br /> We are requesting that by no later than October 20,2008,you contact me in writing <br /> stating your timeline for the installation of this new SSTS. This installation must be <br /> completed this construction season, prior to the ground freezing. <br />
