Failure to properly store or remove these vehicles by July 5, 2008 will prompt us to take
more aggressive action. This would likely include Administrative Fines in the amount of
$100.00 for each day the violation continues, civil action to obtain a court order directing
you to comply with the Ordinance and could potentially include criminal action. You
will also be responsible to reimburse the City for any expenses incurred in remedying this
violation. This would include any consultant fees or other professional services that City
Staff determines is necessary, including but not limited to the City Planner at$92.00 per
hour, the City Engineer at$90.00 to $145.00 per hour or the City Attorney at $145.00 per
hour.
Having outside storage and abandoned vehicles as depicted in these photographs is not
only an eyesore to the rest of the community, it is a health and safety issue that we take
very seriously. Please understand our seriousness and commitment to uphold the
Ordinances. We hope you will take this opportunity to work with us and resolve this
matter.
Sincerely,
Dawn Bittner
Zoning Administrator
`.. C: Planning Commission
Jerry Braam, Chief of Police
