ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO AGENDA: <br /> New Business: <br /> 6. a. Sign Ordinance Discussion <br /> OPEN FORUM: None <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Sign Ordinance Discussion: <br /> Mr. Woog explained the sign discussion at the June 5 City Council meeting and his use <br /> of visual aids. The Chamber is hosting a discussion meeting on June 28 at 8:00 a.m. at <br /> Sibley Station. Staff was directed to prepare a drawing indicating sign sizes as a handout <br /> for this meeting. Mr. Woog, Mr. Marohn, and Councilman Oraskovich will attend. Staff <br /> was directed to prepare a list of sign permits and sign variances. Temporary, offsite, and <br /> real estate signs were discussed. A public service announcement in the paper was <br /> discussed. Staff was directed to address the real estate signs separately from the <br /> temporary signs. Nine square feet is allowed for a real estate sign; a 3' X 3' sign is 9 sq. <br /> ft. Do not count both sides. Staff was directed to contact the realtors by letter,to give <br /> them an extra 30 days to respond, and have them contact Staff with timeframe for <br /> compliance. Banners are to be discussed at the July meeting. Staff was directed to list <br /> the signs and banners that have been reported and to place them on the Potential <br /> Violation List. Staff was directed to keep this on the Agenda until resolved. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> ISTS Ordinance: <br /> Staff explained the need to amend the Ordinance. Assessment versus inspection was <br /> discussed. A licensed Pumper is not an Inspector. Permit applications require a <br /> Certificate of Compliance. <br /> A motion was made by Dean Williams, seconded by Mark Hallan,to hold a public <br /> hearing at the July meeting to amend the Ordinance as follows: <br /> 4.5 Building Standards. <br /> 6. Sewage treatment systems shall conform to Minnesota Pollution Control <br /> Agency Standards-Chapter 7o8o and Crow Wing County Zoning Ordinance <br /> Article 37. <br /> and <br /> 7.7 Sanitation Standards. <br /> 2. Domestic Sewage. <br /> A. All plumbing shall discharge into a municipal sanitary system if available. <br /> B. All designs shall be submitted on Crow Wing County forms. <br /> C.
