MINUTES <br /> PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING <br /> MARCH 15,2007 <br /> PRESENT: Bill Habein,Dean Williams, Tom Adams,Roger Varilek and Scott <br /> Pederson. ABSENT: Tom Woog, Mark Hallan and John Derksen. <br /> CITY PLANNER: Lisa Baraj as, Community Growth Institute. <br /> ZONING ADMINISTRATOR: Dawn Bittner <br /> CITY COUNCIL LIAISON: None. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Tom Adams, Planning Commission Vice-Chair, at <br /> 6:31 p.m. <br /> APPLICANT: Brian Pahl <br /> Applicant requests Final Plat of Mayo Acres. <br /> Ms. Barajas explained the Staff Report. She recommended amending Finding of Fact#1 <br /> regarding the deed restriction. Applicant has provided covenants dealing with the <br /> driveway location condition. <br /> There was no public comment. <br /> Mr. Williams stated that the Title Opinion indicates there are delinquent taxes and asked <br /> if they had been paid. <br /> Jim Kramer of Kramer Leas Deleo was in attendance representing the applicant. He <br /> stated that he has no knowledge of the delinquent taxes,but they would be paid prior to <br /> recording the plat. The County Recorder will not file the plat until the taxes are paid. <br /> MARK HALLAN ARRIVED. <br /> Mr. Williams stated that the independent plat review had been done by KDL,the same <br /> firm who had done the survey work. Mr. Kramer stated that another licensed surveyor <br /> had done the plat review from his office. <br /> Staff was directed to add discussion of independent plat checks to the April Agenda. <br /> Mr. Williams asked if there was a way to ensure that the covenant gets recorded.
