7. Zoning Administrator's Report <br /> A. February Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month by the Zoning <br /> Department: <br /> 1. Phillip Martin, 27095 Pine Cone Lane, to extend Land Use Permit#06-17. <br /> 2. Jon Danielowski, 5514 Sibley Lake Road, to extend Land Use Permit#05-74. <br /> *** Permit applications through February, 2008 are 7, compared with 10 for 2007, 14 for <br /> 2006, 12 for 2005 and 14 for 2004! <br /> B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last meeting: <br /> 1. February 25`x', letter to Scott Smith regarding a conditional use permit. <br /> 2. February 25th, letter to lakes Area Crafters market regarding a conditional use permit. <br /> 3. February 25th, letter to BLC—Pequot Lakes Office regarding welcome banners. <br /> 4. February 26th, letter to M. S. O'Donnell regarding metes and bounds subdivision. <br /> 5. February 26th, letter to Thomas Tulenchik regarding potential ordinance violation. <br /> 6. February 26th, letter to Jon&Nicosia Danielowski regarding potential ordinance <br /> violation. <br /> 7. February 28, letter from Sandelin law Office to city of Pequot Lakes regarding <br /> Nordenstua on sibley final Plat. <br /> 8. March 2nd, letter from Pequot Lakes Fire Department to Pequot Lakes Planning& <br /> Zoning regarding concern about fire protection in the wilderness Resort area. <br /> 9. March 0, letter to Verne&Bonnie Olson regarding Room in the Inn Bed and <br /> Breakfast. <br /> 10. Build Smart Summit notice of meeting on April 30th and May 1A, 2008. <br /> C. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is currently working on the <br /> following potential violations/enforcement actions. We will report on each of these each month <br /> until they are resolved to the satisfaction of the Planning Commission. <br /> 1. John E. MacGibbon: Non-compliant ISTS. The updated parcel information from <br /> the County now indicates new ownership of this parcel. Staff sent the attached <br /> letter to James MacGibbon. (Inherited from Sibley Township) <br /> 2. Cathi McBryde: A copy of the timeline and supporting information has been <br /> forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney. Staff has not been contacted by <br /> Prosecuting Attorney. (Inherited from Sibley Township). <br /> 3. Roger Rudbeck—The City Council has agreed to forward this matter to the City <br /> Attorney to secure a lien on the illegally constructed dwellings. <br /> 4. Darrell Lake— Staff received a request for information from a local realtor. Staff <br /> will monitor for a"For Sale" sign. (8/04) <br /> 5. James and Barbara Whitty— (6/04) <br /> 6.
