MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION THAT THE <br /> �-- APPLICATIONS CLOSE TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE COUNCIL <br /> DATE. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Council Member Ryan suggested that one week is enough time to process the <br /> applications. <br /> THE AMENDMENT CARRIED 3-0. <br /> THE MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 3-0. <br /> 6.4. Planning Commission Appointments <br /> Mayor Adams noted that the City has received two applications for the two <br /> Planning Commission openings from Mark Hallan and John Derksen. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO REAPPOINT MARK HALLAN AND <br /> JOHN DERKSEN TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR THREE <br /> YEAR TERMS TO EXPIRE ON DECEMBER 31,2011. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Council Member Ryan stated that because the City did not receive applicants <br /> other than those whose terms have expired,that this should have been brought to <br /> the Council. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 2-1. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN VOTING NAY. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS AND COUNCILMEMBER MALECHA VOTING AYE. <br /> ➢ Wellhead Protection: <br /> I am reviewing our tasks from 2008 and meeting with the Public Works <br /> Supervisor and our representative from Minnesota Rural Water.
