Mr. Marohn explained the difference between a barrier/privacy fence and shorter fences <br /> �. for front yards. It was the consensus of the Planning Commission to look at the height of <br /> fences in the Urban Residential zone next month. Staff will publish the notice for public <br /> hearing. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> a. Building Code Enforcement(continuation) <br /> Bittner stated she had not received additional responses to the survey she sent out. <br /> A motion was made by J. J. Levenske, seconded by Cheri Seils,to remove this item from <br /> the Agenda. All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> b. Comp Plan Update <br /> Chairman Pederson stated he attended the February (March) Council meeting where <br /> Council Member Akerson stated the Planning Commission changed the wording of <br /> Council Member Ryan's concerns and that the Memo supplied by Mr. Marohn was not <br /> accurate. Chairman Pederson further stated that Council Member Ryan's comments were <br /> transcribed verbatim and included in an email to Council Member Akerson on April 4 <br /> where he had highlighted Council Member Ryan's comments, compared them to Mr. <br /> Marohn's Memo and found the Memo to be accurate. <br /> When asked by Council Member Akerson if anything had been changed, Chairman <br /> Pederson stated that at a minimum, one word was changed; "schizophrenic"was changed <br /> to "contradictory"; use of schizophrenic was personally offensive. <br /> Council Member Akerson stated that he and Council Member Ryan are available next <br /> Thursday for a meeting. <br /> Chairman Pederson reminded Council Member Akerson that he stated the Planning <br /> Commission was inaccurate and changed Council Member Ryan's responses. Council <br /> Member Akerson's statements were unfounded and inaccurate and need to be corrected at <br /> a Council meeting. Chairman Pederson will address this at the next Council meeting. <br /> Staff will coordinate the meeting next Thursday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> A motion was made by Deb Brown, seconded by J. J. Levenske,to approve the Minutes <br /> as read. All members voted"aye".
