Restore the surface improvements With the straight watermain segments under the curvilinear streets,we are open to you only needing to replace only one side of the curb and gutter and one-half of the pavement width. However,should your work carry you over the centerline, you will need to replace the whole pavement width. 8. Re-vegetate Replace topsoil(if stockpiled,otherwise,bring in new topsoil)on any disturbed areas,seed,fertilize,water,etc.to get a stand of grass growing. 9. Remove erosion control devices once the grass is established. Please note that the one-year correction period starts up again on this corrective work(the original one-year correction period will end August 5,2009 on the remainder of the project's improvements). C From our last meeting,it was mentioned that this situation may have occurred because a sanitary sewer manhole was constructed lower than called for in the plan. We do not know why the necessary number/height of barrel segments for the manhole were not on- site,or why it was decided to keep on constructing without waiting to install the necessary number/height of barrel segments.No matter the reason,please understand that the City does not see contributing to the cost of this work. Once we get your plan and corresponding schedule,the City will assign personnel to observe your work. Please note that we have not had conversations with the City on if or how the City will cover its own costs on this corrective work. Please complete this corrective work within 3 months-this should be plenty of time for this amount of work and allows for some seeding time. If this work is not completed by August 15,2009,including having a stand of grass,the City will have to pursue your bond or whatever other legal means are at their disposal.
