Policy Five: High levels of maintenance of individual sewage treatment systems should <br /> maybe not be limited to shoreline areas. The City should start with an inventory of the <br /> existing systems. The Wellhead area should also be included. Five-year inspections may <br /> be too often after the inventory is completed—ten years may be more realistic. <br /> Education is key. <br /> Changes in the other sections of the document: <br /> The Action items are from the old plan and should have been deleted. He stated there is no water getting to the lake; it soaks into <br /> the lawn. The pond will not work as indicated because of the slope. Trees are included <br /> on his drawing and there are utilities there as well. <br /> Mr. Hallan stated the north pond cannot be constructed as indicated on the site plan.
