A motion was made by Tom Adams, seconded by Mark Hallan, to not send forth an <br /> Ordinance Amendment proposal to the City Council and to take no action. 6 ayes, 1 nay <br /> (Bill Habein). Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Nagel would like this matter brought back up at a later date. <br /> Chairman Woog closed the Public Hearings. <br /> ADDITIONS OR DELETIONS TO AGENDA: None. <br /> OPEN FORUM: None. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> a. Animal Husbandry, Discussion: <br /> Bittner explained the City Clerk is proposing amendments to Chapter 9 of the City Code <br /> which would include the number of dogs allowed per household. The definition of <br /> Animal Husbandry limits the number to two dogs. At a previous Planning Commission <br /> meeting Staff was directed to include the definition of Animal Husbandry on an <br /> upcoming Agenda for discussion. The City Clerk would like the Planning Commission <br /> to complete their discussion prior to completing her City Code amendments. <br /> After discussing what number should be included for either dogs or cats, the Planning <br /> Commission agreed to exclude dogs and cats from Animal Husbandry altogether and to <br /> have the City deal with the issue as a public nuisance. <br /> Staff was directed to bring this back for an Ordinance Amendment and to notify the City <br /> Clerk of this recommendation. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: None. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> A motion was made by Tom Adams, seconded by Mark Hallan,to approve the July 15, <br /> 2010 Planning Commission Minutes. All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br /> Bittner pointed out the one Land Use Permit issued and the 22 letters sent or received. <br /> The following Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions were discussed. <br /> 1. Whitty violation—Mr. Marohn explained his s' visit and the nice work the new <br /> owners have done to correct this violation.
