City Council Minutes <br />August 3, 2004 <br />� 11. Maintenance Supervisor's Report <br />Page 8 <br />Mike Loven indicated that he received an estimate of $10,600 to improve <br />Hubbard Street plus 300 feet of Water Tower Drive. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br />IMPROVEMENT (SHAPING AND GRAVELING) OF HUBBARD STREET <br />AND 300 FEET OF WATER TOWER DRIVE AT A COST OF $10,600. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 7-0. <br />Mike Loven indicated that he received an estimate of $23,515.66 to finish <br />the improvement of Pillsbury Street and Nelson Street. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br />IMPROVEMENT OF PILLSBURY AND NELSON STREETS AT A COST <br />OF $23,515.66. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br />12. Police Chief Report <br />Chief Forsberg reviewed the monthly report. The Chief stated he has <br />received a request to place "no parking" signs in front of Heidemann <br />�- Construction and Karen's Mane Attraction. Discussion was held regarding <br />coming up with a long term solution to the parking problem in the area. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO PLACE NO PARKING <br />SIGNS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET FOR A TWO-BLOCK AREA <br />THAT STATE "NO PARKING THIS BLOCK". COUNCIL MEMBER <br />AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br />13. WaterNVastewater Supervisor's Report <br />Report presented by Brett Twardy <br />13.1. Approve Tina Nolden's Six-Month Probation <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO APPROVE TINA NOLDEN'S <br />SIX-MONTH PROBATION WITH A$.50 INCREASE IN WAGE <br />RETROACTIVE TO JULY 12, 2004. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ- <br />ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br />13.2. Approve Addition of Water/Sewer Personnel Services to 2004 Fee <br />Schedule <br />� <br />
