I have been to your property and taken the enclosed pictures. If these pictures accurately <br /> depict the condition of your property,I would have to find that you are in violation of <br /> these provisions of the City Code. <br /> As opposed to formally citing you for a violation of the City Code,we would like the <br /> opportunity to work with you to correct the situation. <br /> i. We are requesting that by no later than May 16,2010 you remove or <br /> properly store all refuse and debris. <br /> 2. In addition,we are requesting that by no later than May 26,2010 you remove <br /> or properly store all items currently stored outside and visible from public <br /> right-of-way. <br /> 3. We are also requesting you either make application for a Land Use Permit to <br /> demolish the existing dwelling or inform the City in writing your plans to <br /> maintain same no later than June 6,2010. I am enclosing a Land Use Permit <br /> Application for your convenience. <br /> 4. We are further requesting you make application for a Land Use Permit for <br /> the white structure located east of the existing dwelling no later than May 26, <br /> 2010. I am enclosing a Land Use Permit Application for your convenience. <br /> Failure to comply with the City Code as outlined above will prompt us to take more <br /> aggressive action. This would likely include Administrative Fines in the amount of <br /> $100.00 per day for each day the violation continues, civil action to obtain a court order <br /> directing you to comply with the City Code and could potentially include criminal action. <br /> `., You will also be responsible to reimburse the City for any expenses incurred in <br /> remedying this violation. This would include any consultant fees or other professional <br /> services that City Staff determines is necessary, including but not limited to the City <br /> Planner at$92.00 per hour,the City Engineer at$77.00 to $148.00 per hour or the City <br /> Attorney at $150.00 per hour. <br /> Having refuse, debris and items stored outdoors as depicted in these photographs is not <br /> only an eyesore to the rest of the community, it is a health and safety issue that we take <br /> very seriously. Please understand our seriousness and commitment to uphold the City <br /> Code.
