CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> CROW WING COUNTY,MINNESOTA <br /> ORDINANCE XX-2oio <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT PROVIDING FOR ADDED DENSITY <br /> ALLOWANCES FOR LARGE RESORT OPERATIONS <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF PEQUOT LAKES ORDAINS THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENTS TO <br /> CHAPTER 17—LAND USE(ZONING)AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS,SECTION 17-6.6 <br /> 17-6.6 Large Resort Overlay Zone <br /> 1. General. The provisions of this section will apply to existing commercial resorts that are <br /> located in a Shoreline Commercial zone, were in existence prior to January 1, 2010, are <br /> part of an established Planned Unit Development and contain at least 20 dwelling units. <br /> 2. The provisions for calculating allowable density in a Planned Unit Development, found <br /> in Section 17-8.2, subpart 6W, shall not be applicable. Instead, density shall be <br /> calculated as follows: <br /> A. DensitXis determined through the following steps: <br /> i. Determine the average inside living area size of dwelling units or sites <br /> within each tier, including both existing and proposed units and sites. <br /> Computation of inside living area sizes need not include decks, patios, <br /> stoops, steps, garages, or porches and basements, unless they are <br /> habitable space. <br /> ii. Select the appropriate floor area ratio from the following table: <br />
