� <br />� <br />B. Recreational District. <br />(I} Each Kecreaiiona;tly zoned development may be allowed on-site <br />signage as regulated by a conditional use permit. Unless otherwise <br />allowed, the size of any single sign shalt not exceed 48 squaze feet <br />in area and shall not exceed 10 feet from the ground to the top of <br />the sign. <br />(2) A parcel of land may have internal directional signs that are related <br />to the operation of the recreational facility. <br />(3) No signage shall be allowed to direct any light on to an adjacent <br />parcel of iand. <br />e. Directorv Si�ns. <br />(1) To facilitate economic growth and reduce the overall amount of <br />signage within the City, the City of Pequot Lakes may, at its <br />discretion, establish directory signs in any zone. Directory signs <br />should be in lieu of other signage, such as an existing off-site sign <br />or signage provided by the Minnesata Department of <br />Transportation. <br />D. Residential Districts includin� Rurat Residentiai_ Transition Residential.. <br />Shoreline Residential, and Urban Residential. <br />(Ij Area Id�ntification Signs ar� pernvtted . <br />in the residenrial districts listed above and must meet the following <br />criteria: <br />(a) The size of the sign shatl not exceed 32 square feet in azea. <br />(b) The sign sha11 not exceed eight (8) feet in height, as <br />measured from the e�usting ground elevation to the top of <br />the sign.
