Mn DOT Contract No: 1000645 STATE OF MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION And CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES COOPERATIVE CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT State Project Number(S.P.): 1810-92 Estimated Amount Receivable Trunk Highway Number(T.H.): 371=019 $68,179.07 State Project Number(S.P.): 1810-(18002) State Project Number(S.P.): 1810-(18009) State Project Number(S.P.): 1810-(18X06) Federal Project Number: NHPP 0371(313) Signal System ID 40022 This Agreement is between the State of Minnesota,acting through its Commissioner of Transportation("State")and City of Pequot Lakes acting through its City Council("City"). Recitals 1. The State will perform grading, paving, lighting,signal system,rotind-a-bout,Bridge No. 18X06,Bridge No. 18009,Bridge No. 18002 construction,and other associated construction upon,along and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 371 from the City of Nisswa to the City of Jenkins according to State-prepared plans, specifications and special provisions designated by the State as State Project No. 1810-92 (T.H.371=019)("Project");and 2. City cost participation is required for the removal and installation of the signal system located at Trunk Highway No.371 and County State Aid Highway No. 16 and the City is willing to participate in the construction and construction engineering costs as a lump sum amount;and 3. The City and the State will participate in the operation and maintenance of the new signal system and EVP system and 4. A separate agreement between the State and Crow Wing County will address the County's cost share for the traffic signal system at Trunk Highway No.371 and County State Aid Highway No. 16;and 5. The design,construction, inspection and maintenance of the City-owned utilities to be constructed under the .Project will be covered under a Master Utility Agreement between the State,the design-build contractor,and the City;and 6. Minnesota Statutes§ 161.20,subdivision 2 authorizes the Commissioner of Transportation to make arrangements with and cooperate with any governmental authority for the purposes of constructing, maintaining and improving the trunk highway system. Agreement 1. Term of Agreement; Survival of Terms; Plans;Incorporation of Exhibits 1.1. Effective Date. This Agreement will be effective on the date the State obtains all signatures required by Minnesota Statutes§ 16C.05, subdivision 2. 1.2. Expiration Date.This Agreement will expire when all obligations have been satisfactorily fulfilled. 1.3. Survival of Terms.
