Mn DOT Contract No: 1000645 <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> And <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COOPERATIVE CONSTRUCTION <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> State Project Number(S.P.): 1810-92 Estimated Amount Receivable <br /> Trunk Highway Number(T.H.): 371=019 $68,179.07 <br /> State Project Number(S.P.): 1810-(18002) <br /> State Project Number(S.P.): 1810-(18009) <br /> State Project Number(S.P.): 1810-(18X06) <br /> Federal Project Number: NHPP 0371(313) <br /> Signal System ID 40022 <br /> This Agreement is between the State of Minnesota,acting through its Commissioner of Transportation("State")and <br /> City of Pequot Lakes acting through its City Council("City"). <br /> Recitals <br /> 1. The State will perform grading, paving, lighting,signal system,rotind-a-bout,Bridge No. 18X06,Bridge <br /> No. 18009,Bridge No. 18002 construction,and other associated construction upon,along and adjacent to <br /> Trunk Highway No. 371 from the City of Nisswa to the City of Jenkins according to State-prepared plans, <br /> specifications and special provisions designated by the State as State Project No. 1810-92 <br /> (T.H.371=019)("Project");and <br /> 2. City cost participation is required for the removal and installation of the signal system located at Trunk <br /> Highway No.371 and County State Aid Highway No. 16 and the City is willing to participate in the <br /> construction and construction engineering costs as a lump sum amount;and <br /> 3. The City and the State will participate in the operation and maintenance of the new signal system and EVP <br /> system and <br /> 4. A separate agreement between the State and Crow Wing County will address the County's cost share for the <br /> traffic signal system at Trunk Highway No.371 and County State Aid Highway No. 16;and <br /> 5. The design,construction, inspection and maintenance of the City-owned utilities to be constructed under the <br /> .Project will be covered under a Master Utility Agreement between the State,the design-build contractor,and <br /> the City;and <br /> 6. Minnesota Statutes§ 161.20,subdivision 2 authorizes the Commissioner of Transportation to make <br /> arrangements with and cooperate with any governmental authority for the purposes of constructing, <br /> maintaining and improving the trunk highway system. <br /> Agreement <br /> 1. Term of Agreement; Survival of Terms; Plans;Incorporation of Exhibits <br /> 1.1. Effective Date. This Agreement will be effective on the date the State obtains all signatures required by <br /> Minnesota Statutes§ 16C.05, subdivision 2. <br /> 1.2. Expiration Date.This Agreement will expire when all obligations have been satisfactorily fulfilled. <br /> 1.3. Survival of Terms.
