Council Members Ryan and Akerson had an issue with the shortness of <br /> time to make the appeal. The approved Amendment is below, indicating the <br /> changes in the time to appeal. <br /> Amendment: Chapter 17, Article 11 shall be amended as follows: <br /> Section 17-11.2 BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> 2. Duties of the Board of Adjustment. <br /> A. To consider appeals from the action of the Zoning Administrator <br /> wherein the Board will take the authority of the Administrator. Said <br /> appeals shall be filed with the City Clerk within 0 �9' of the <br /> decision. The Board of Adjustment will hear any appeal within sixty <br /> *( days of the Zoning Administrator's action. <br /> Section 17-11.5 CITY COUNCIL <br /> 1. The City Council shall have the following duties under this Chapter: <br /> C. To decide within the required time frame the following: <br /> (5) To hear appeals from the actions of the Board of Adjustment and <br /> the Planning Commission where their action is normally final. Said <br /> appeals shall be filed with the City Clerk within , off 9 )days of <br /> the decision. Said appeals shall be heard within ix t ( t} 4ys of <br /> the Planning Commission or the Board of Adjustment action and <br /> the city shall re-notify anyone noticed for the public hearing at <br /> which the decision was made. <br /> ➢ Wesley Wilson, County Road 17,was appointed to serve on the Planning <br /> Commission to fill the vacancy caused by Scott Pederson being appointed to the <br /> City Council. His term will expire December 31, 2013. <br /> D. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City Staff is <br /> currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement actions.
