Zoning Administrator's Report <br /> A. September Permits: The following permits were issued over the last month <br /> by the Zoning Department: <br /> 1. Skyfield Partners(AT&T), 4733 Akerson Road, for tower antennas; <br /> 2. Melinda Wynn, 5314 County Road 11, for a fence. <br /> *** Permit applications through September, 2012 are 48, compared with 51 for 2011, <br /> 51 for 2010, 59 for 2009, 83 for 2008, 100 for 2007, 98 for 2006, 128 for 2005 and <br /> 120 for 2004! <br /> B. Correspondence: Your Staff sent the following correspondence since the last <br /> meeting: <br /> 1. Directional Sign—I have included a photograph of the Directional Sign located at <br /> the comer of County Road 11 and County Road 112. Another sign is located at <br /> the comer of Second Street and Main Street by the TDS building. <br /> 2. September 10 letter from Daniel Hurley clarifying the onsite meeting with <br /> Community Growth and Staff. <br /> 3. September 18 letter to Catherine Stattelman regarding Animal Husbandry; <br /> 4. October 4 email to Rick Boschee regarding his Land Use Permit Application and <br /> prior variances issued for his property. <br /> 5. October 5 letter to Catherine Stattelmann regarding Animal Husbandry. <br /> 6. October 8 letter to Douglas and Linda Cooper regarding shoreline restoration. <br /> C. Council Meeting Notes: <br /> A The City Council unanimously passed the Ordinance Amendment regarding the <br /> Sign Concept Plan Review. The comments below are from the Draft Minutes of <br /> the October 2, 2012 Council Meeting: <br /> "Council Member Ryan stated he does not believe this change makes the <br /> process any easier and it does not solve the underlying issue of the sign <br /> ordinance. <br /> Council Member Pederson stated that the benefit is a more streamlined, <br /> less expensive process which eliminates the need for a conditional use <br /> permit. <br /> October, 2012 Staff Report Page 1 <br />
