If your municipality has chosen to not adopt the State Building Code, have you _ <br /> received requests from the general public or building contractors to do so? <br /> Occasionally from the general public, but more often from established, larger contractors. <br /> People that have homes are more vocal to have a code than those who are building, <br /> although with the economy many people look at the dollars. Generally speaking it would <br /> be cheaper in the short run to build and not worry about the extra expense of an inspector; <br /> in the long run that may be a different story. <br /> Not very often; people from the metro find it odd that we do not have the Code. <br /> 2 <br />
