(6) Describe character of the area and the existing patterns and uses of development in the
area.
How is this proposal consistent with those patterns and uses?
Our lot is at the end of a dead end gravel road (Pine Cone Ln). The lots on either side of
the road are private residences. The variance that is requested would have no effect on anv
neighboring residences or their use of the area.
(7) Describe the impact on the capacity of existing or planned community facilities (sewer,
drainage, other). Describe if additional facilities will be required.
N.A.
(8) Describe the impact on the character of the neighborhood in which the property is located.
Allowing the variance would permit us to proceed with building a new residence and
allow us to turn a undeveloped, unattractive lot, into property that will bring beauty to the
neighborhood and revenue to the county.
(9) Describe the impact to traffic on roads and highways in the vicinity, and expected traffic
generated by this application. Is there adequate parking available to accommodate the
proposal?
No impact. We are planning to build a single family residence and the variance will
allow us to provide a suitable garage entrance to the house. The traffic will not increase, since I
have been staying at the residence located on the lot to the West for over two years.
(10) Discuss any environmental limitations of the site or area.
I have had a local sewer and drainfield contractor look at the site and he
recommends the proposed drainfield location as a viable and environmentally acceptable
application.
(10) Please include any other comments pertinent to this request.
I have encluded a snapshot of the area of the proposed drainfield and property line.
It should be clearer that there is nothing on the neighboring lot that would be affected by this
variance. Thank you.Wayne and Pam
4 REV: MAR 2009
