I had wanted to add input to the Washington <br /> street discussion. <br /> So here's my 2 cents... I would NOT like to see just a parking lot with a street running through it. This <br /> looks like a great place for a pedestrian area with all the shops on that north side of County Rd 11. <br /> I have attached a pdf of just one idea. It makes room for a pedestrian area(oasis). I can see benches, a <br /> kiosk, a downtown map. It could also be a cover for storm water and could even have a rain garden, a <br /> bush or two that requires minimal upkeep. <br /> I am promoting a pedestrian area and something other than just a street and parking.
