� <br />City Council Minutes <br />June 5, 2012 <br />Page 4 of 7 <br />COST TO BE SPLIT BETWEEN THE WAC AND SAC FUNDS. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Council member Ryan stated that he feels that the existing WAC and SAC <br />fees which were set during the rate study several years ago, were <br />considered to be an equivalent residential unit. He noted that if we <br />implement this as requested, it would cost businesses more money to <br />hook up. <br />Tim Houle discussed a proposal to prepare a draft WAC and SAC <br />Ordinance and reviewed what would be included in the proposal. <br />MOTION CARRIED 3-2. COUNCIL MEMBERS AKERSON AND RYAN <br />OPPOSED. <br />6. Planninq and Zoninq <br />Report received by Council. <br />6.1 Ordinance Amendment Reqardinq Heiqht of Fences <br />`-- Staff report presented by Chuck Marohn. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 12-05 <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE REGARDING FENCE <br />HEIGHT. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />Discussion was held regarding the allowed fence height. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />7. Fire Department Monthlv Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />8. Police Department Monthlv Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />8.1. Request to Hire Part Time Officers <br />Chief Klang requested to hire three part time officers. Council Member <br />Ryan questioned whether there were any incremental costs associated <br />� <br />
