Ilk <br /> Ik 71 <br /> 7. The Veteran's Memorial is considered one of cornerstones of the park. It is a place of majesty <br /> and importance as it memorializes the lives of those who have fought for our country. The <br /> memorial is centrally located within the north side of the park. This is an excellent location due <br /> to the nature and purpose of the memorial. It presents an excellent opportunity to be the <br /> centerpiece of the park. <br /> Most veteran's monuments across the country are symmetrical. They consist of straight lines <br /> and sharp edges that create a sense of grandeur. The city may want to consider working with <br /> the local veterans to discuss how the memorial could be rearranged to better fit in with the park <br /> _ and emit more of a sense of grandeur.
