MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO DEVELOP A COMMITTEE TO CHOOSE
THE STREET LIGHT DESIGN FOR NORTH WASHINGTON. COUNCIL
MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0.
Council Member Gardner suggested that the committee also work on the
other aesthetics of the project.
Mayor Adams noted that Council Member Pederson has requested a
drawing of the retaining wall.
Nelson Road - The Township is still interested, but the project has been "on
the shelf' /on hold as requested by the City.
Hwy 371 - Conversations continue with the County Engineer and MnDOT on
portions of their anticipated responses to the City's initial negotiation
spreadsheet. Once the County and MnDOT provide responses, it is
anticipated that there will be some committee meetings, possibly with
County and MnDOT representatives, to see where we agree, where we are
close, and where we might be far apart. All will be brought back to the
Council, especially the latter situation, so the Council can make final
commitments.
MnDOT and the County were provided with two options to move the
proposed CR 112 realignment further away from Mr. Rasmussen's house.
They are still only options, and a meeting is anticipated with MnDOT, the
City, and the County on next steps.
WWTF Facility Plan - The draft of the Facility Plan is not ready to present to
the Council as we are awaiting some cost information from an irrigation
supplier on the new set of pivot irrigators option. He noted that the City is paying for this work and
the Council has not yet made a final decision as to whether it wanted to
have the road turned back to the City. It was the general consensus of the
Council that the Council would be in favor of accepting County Road 112 as
a turn back from the County.
10.2.
