C. Council Meeting Notes: <br /> The City Council Meeting was held June 3 and an excerpt of the draft <br /> Minutes are included: <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Report <br /> Report received by Council. <br /> 6.2. Ordinance Amendment— Building Height <br /> Justin Burslie stated that the Planning Commission has recommended an <br /> amendment to the City Code that changes the definition of building height. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 14-03, <br /> SECOND SERIES, AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> REGARDING THE DEFINITION OF BUILDING HEIGHT. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4- <br /> 0. <br /> 6.3. Preliminary Plat of Wilderness Resort Villas, Third Amendment <br /> Justin Burslie reviewed the third amendment to the Wilderness Resort Villas <br /> preliminary plat. He noted that the Planning Commission has recommended <br /> approval based on 9 findings of fact and 25 conditions on the conditional <br /> use permit. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO APPROVE THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF <br /> CIC 1079, THIRD AMENDMENT, BASED ON THE 19 FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> AND SUBJECT TO THE 25 CONDITIONS OF THE CONDITIONAL USE <br /> PERMIT BEING MET. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO APPOINT A COMMITTEE TO MONITOR <br /> THE REDEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES OF WILDERNESS RESORT <br /> VILLAS AND THAT THE COMMITTEE MEET EVERY TWO MONTHS FOR <br /> THE FIRST SIX MONTHS AND EVERY SIX MONTHS AFTER THAT, AND <br /> THAT THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS APPOINTED ARE: TODD ENGELS, <br /> JIM ORASKOVICH, JUSTIIN BURSLIE, DAWN BITTNER, SCOTT <br /> PEDERSON, AND ONE REPRESENTATIVE FROM CULLEN LAKE <br /> ASSOCIATION. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> The Mayor questioned whether there were any consequences for cutting <br /> trees down. Council Member Pederson suggested building an inventory of <br /> the trees with the possibility of requiring the developer to inventory the trees. <br /> Council Member Sjoblad stated he would like to see the trees inventoried <br /> June 19, 2014 Staff Report Page 2 <br />
