(h) Lettering: In order to maintain the “small town feel” referenced in the Comprehensive Plan, lettering shall resemble that found on old fashioned marquee reader board signs. Individual letters, symbols and numbers shall not be less than 8” in height. (i) Color: Dynamic displays shall be comprised of two colors. One color shall be used for a solid background and the second color shall be used for letters, symbols and numbers. Staff has prepared an ordinance amendment that would delete the section for displaying gas pricing. The underlined text is the proposed language to be added. The strikethrough language is proposed to be removed. (8) Static LED displays used for advertising the price of gasoline shall be permitted.
