MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />6.4. Downtown Plan <br /> <br /> Dawn Bittner reviewed the draft downtown plan. She stated that the <br />Planning Commission unanimously recommends adoption of the plan. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON MOVED TO ADOPT THE PEQUOT <br />LAKES DOWNTOWN PLAN. COUNCIL MEMBER GARDNER <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-1. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />AKERSON OPPOSED. <br /> <br />JANUARY 6, 2015: <br /> <br />The DRAFT Minutes of the January 6 City Council meeting were not complete <br />when this report was prepared. They will be included next month. <br /> <br /> <br />D. Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: The City <br />Staff is currently working on the following potential violations/enforcement <br />actions. We will report on each of these each month until they are resolved to the <br />satisfaction of the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> Virgil Dahl – The non-conforming mobile home is to be removed in the <br />spring. (10/06 to present) <br /> Peterson, Gary – Extensive grading. MCPA website lists the Termination <br />Date as January 10, 2014. We consider this matter resolved. (7/08) <br /> John and Barbara Derksen – Exterior storage. Staff will move forward <br />enforcement. (5/13) <br /> Cathi McBryde – Exterior storage. Staff needs to address. (5/13) <br /> Carter McAnnich – Exterior storage and abandoned vehicles. Staff needs to <br />address. (5/13) <br /> Gorton Properties LLC – Exterior Storage. Property owner had been making <br />progress but there are now additional items strewn about the property and <br />the grass has not been mowed. (8/13) <br /> James Byrne – Accessory Structure exceeds maximum building height. <br />(8/13)
