After the City Council awards the construction Contract, we will issue a Notice of Award to
the Contractor, and request bonds and insurance.
2. We will review the Contractor's bonds and insurance for conformity to the construction
Contract, obtain signatures on the Agreement, and prepare conformed construction
Contracts for the City, the Contractor, and our project files.
3. We will send out invites, prepare an agenda, conduct the pre-construction meeting, and
distribute minutes.
4. We will coordinate with utilities.
5. We will review the Contractor's schedules.
6. We will review the Contractor's shop drawings on materials and equipment to be
incorporated into the work.
7. We will establish horizontal and vertical control and provide hubs and offsets in the field for
the Contractor as specified in the construction documents.
8. The City will provide a construction observer. As part of the weekly construction meetings
(next task), we will provide a total of 4 hours per week of observation time to assist the City
as needed. For the purposes of estimating our time on this task, we anticipate a roughly 4
week construction schedule.
9. We will prepare an agenda, conduct weekly on-site progress meetings, and distribute
minutes.
10. We will answer questions from the City's construction observer or the Contractor.
Engineering i Architecture i Surveying 1 Environnn ental
