February 21, 2012 <br />Housin� & Redevelopment Authority <br />Commissioners present: Bob Peterson, Robert Ritter, Lorraine Youngberg, Laura Hofius, Jane Ness <br />Also present: Executive Director Carlson, Maintenance Engineer Hall, Mayor Adams <br />�-- Tenants: D. Botham, P. Hoskin, J, Hoskin, B. Kolby <br />Guest: Paul from Springsted <br />Call Meetin� to Order <br />5:15 p.m. Commissioner Peterson Welcomed Paul from Springsted <br />Consider A�enda/ Chan�es to Meetin� <br />Director Carlson had a request from a resident of West Grove for a path to be blown in the snow to the <br />garbage dumpster in the Sibley parking lot. Our Insurance Co. advised against it as there is no hard surface <br />walk there. The cost of switching to small residential garbage cans was presented along with a discussion of <br />where to store them, who pulls them to the street on pickup day, how to charge for the extra cost over the <br />dumpster. This request was tabled. <br />West Grove <br />Paul from Springsted was here to present options for restructuring of the Bonds for West Grove. He presented <br />several options and some charts and graphs. Paul also explained and clarified some of the complications of <br />restructuring the debt. It includes Crow Wing County HRA, Crow Wing County Commissioners, The City of <br />Pequot Lakes and Pequot H R A. <br />It was deiced that Director Carlson and Paul would try to meet in March with the Crow Wing County HRA to <br />get a direction from them as to what types of restructure they would considered approving. <br />Annroval of Minutes and Bill pavment <br />Approved Minutes and Payment of Bills, Moved by Youngberg , seconded by Ritter, All ayes: Motion <br />\.. carried. <br />Siblev Terrace <br />Director Carlson said she just found out the Reserve account is rated in a different way. This has resulted in <br />our rating being changed from High performance to Sub-standard. She will try to get all the requirements for <br />this and put together a plan to get back on the High performance rating. <br />Park View <br />Director Carlson is working with both Minnesota Housing and Rural Development looking for <br />more operating money. Contract renewal is up in June and a budget will be submitted with an <br />increase in rent. <br />Maintenance En�ineer's renort <br />A new igniter was installed in one of the hot water heaters in Sibley. <br />Insulation was purchased for the maintenance garage and a riser for one of the dryers in Sibley. <br />Other Business <br />Mayor Adams said she was trying to get volunteers to weed the shrub areas in the City Park down <br />town. <br />Ouen Forum <br />Adiournment 6:35p.m. Moved by Youngberg , seconded by Ritter, All ayes: Motion carried. <br />:��Tii1 <br />� <br />Sec. <br />
