On January 1, 2015, he <br /> successfully completed his probationary period and he <br /> received the same pay increase as the other union <br /> employees which was a 3% COLA increase with no step. <br /> On May 5, 2015, the Council unanimously approved to hire <br /> Sheri Fyle as a full-time police officer at step 1 of the pay <br /> structure. On November 18, 2015, she successfully <br /> completed her probationary period and she moved to step 2 <br /> of the pay structure. <br /> The above situation has caused Officer Jorgens to be paid <br /> at step 1 while Officer Fyle is paid at step 2 even though <br />
