CONSTRUCTION COST SHARE/MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN CROW WING COUNTY, MN AND THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES,MN <br /> FOR NUMEROUS ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS RELATED TO THE MnDOT TH 371 <br /> FOUR-LANE EXPANSION/BYPASS PROJECT WITHIN PEQUOT LAKES <br /> This Agreement is made and entered into this day of , 2015, by and between the County <br /> of Crow Wing, State of Minnesota, a political subdivision of the State of Minnesota, 326 Laurel <br /> Street,Brainerd,Minnesota,56401,hereinafter referred to as"County",and the City of Pequot Lakes, <br /> a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota, 4638 County Road 11, Pequot <br /> Lakes, MN 56472,hereinafter referred to as the "City". <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> WHEREAS,the State of Minnesota intends to construct a 4-lane expansion of TH 371 within the <br /> limits of Pequot Lakes, including a bypass of the existing downtown area,that will change traffic <br /> patterns and roadway functions in the immediate area, and <br /> WHEREAS,the State will perform grading, paving, lighting, signal system, round-a-bouts, bridge <br /> construction and other associated construction upon, along and adjacent to TH 371 from the City of <br /> Nisswa to the City of Jenkins, and <br /> WHEREAS,this agreement only covers that portion of the TH 371 project that lies within the <br /> corporate limits of the City of Pequot Lakes, and <br /> WHERAS, a separate agreement between the City and State will address the City's cost share and <br /> maintenance responsibilities for the signal system at TH 371 and CSAH 16, and <br /> WHEREAS, a separate agreement between the City and County will address roadway revocations <br /> from the County to the City involving segments of CSAH 11,CR 112 and existing TH 371. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY STIPULATED AND AGREED: <br /> I. PURPOSE <br /> The parties have joined together for the purpose of reconstructing the intersections impacted <br /> by the reconstruction of TH 371 by the State. These include the following intersections, and the <br /> approach roadways leading to these intersections, proceeding from south to north as described in the <br /> plans and specifications prepared by the State and identified as State Project No. 1810-92 on file in <br /> the office of the Minnesota Department of Transportation: <br /> New TH 371 and CR 107 south/CSAH 29 <br /> New TH 371 and exist. TH 371/CR 168/CR 107 north <br /> New TH 371 and CSAH 11 <br /> Exist. TH 371 and CSAH 17 <br /> Extension of CSAH 17 and new CR 112 <br /> New TH 371 and Exist. TH 371 <br /> CR 112 and Akerson Road <br /> New TH 371 and CSAH 16/Myers Road <br /> 1 <br />
