COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> The Clerk explained that the motion made on July 7th included personnel <br /> committee recommendations for the Zoning Administrator, Finance <br /> Administrator/Deputy City Clerk, City Administrator, and Administrative <br /> Finance Assistant. She noted that based on the current situation the <br /> motion should be made to approve the recommendations for the Zoning <br /> Specialist and Administrator and not for the Finance Administrator/Deputy <br /> City Clerk or the Administrative Finance Assistant. <br /> MAYOR SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE PERSONNEL <br /> COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE ZONING SPECIALIST <br /> AND ADMINISTRATOR. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER KARR MOVED TO APPOINT NANCY MALECHA <br /> TO THE POSITION OF ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK EFFECTIVE <br /> SEPTEMBER 28, 2015, AS AN EXEMPT EMPLOYEE AT $67,251 <br /> (STEP 1 OF THE 2015 CITY ADMINISTRATOR PAY STRUCTURE) <br /> WITH A QUARTERLY PERFORMANCE REVIEW TO BE CONDUCTED <br /> BY TWO COUNCIL MEMBERS. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO APPOINT DEB MARTY TO <br /> THE POSITION OF DEPUTY CITY CLERK EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER <br /> 28, 2015, WITH AN INCREASE IN POINTS TO 257 AT A WAGE OF <br /> $18.03 WHICH IS STEP 3 OF THE DEPUTY CITY CLERK PAY <br /> STRUCTURE WITH A SIX MONTH PROBATION. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER KARR MOVED TO AUTHORIZE STAFF TO <br /> CONTACT DAN VOGT AND BEGIN NEGOTIATIONS WITH HIM AS A <br /> CONSULTANT FOR THE CITY. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />
