City Council Minutes <br /> November 1, 2011 <br /> Page 6 <br /> Council Member Sjoblad indicated his concern about the benefits of <br /> bonding for the full project versus doing a scaled down version which <br /> would have to be redone in a shorter time span. <br /> Tim Houle stated that if the Council is serious about considering this type <br /> of Government Drive project, it would be best to get the surveying done <br /> before it snows. <br /> MAYOR ADAMS MOVED TO AUTHORIZE WSN TO DO THE <br /> REQUIRED SURVEY WORK FOR GOVERNMENT DRIVE AT A COST <br /> NOT TO EXCEED $7,000. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> The Council discussed the process for moving forward with this project. <br /> Tim Houle stated that WSN could use the recent Government Drive study <br /> and revise the study for the project that the Council is now considering. He <br /> indicated that this would cost between $3,000 and $5,000. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE WSN TO <br /> REVISE THE EXISTING GOVERNMENT DRIVE STUDY TO INCLUDE A <br /> SCALED DOWN VERSION OF THE PROJECT FROM BUTLER <br /> STREET TO THE CINDY RIECK PROPERTY AT A COST OF $3,000 TO <br /> $5,000. COUNCIL MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 10.3. County Road 11 Corridor Study <br /> Tim Houle informed the Council that a committee met to discuss the C.R. <br /> 11 Corridor Study. He noted that the committee felt that it would be best to <br /> have the Planning Commission study this issue. <br /> Council Member Sjoblad stated that he met with the County to review <br /> proposed layouts of County Road 11. He suggested overlaying it as it is <br /> now as the City is not ready to make some of the decisions reflected in the <br /> other plans proposed by the County. <br /> It was the consensus of the Council to have the Planning Commission <br /> study the County Road 11 project. <br /> 11.
