Proclamation for Velma Kargel <br /> In recognition of Velma Kargel who is a long-time, respected citizen of the <br /> City of Pequot Lakes, Mayor Sjoblad proclaimed August 8, 2015 as Velma <br /> Kargel Day and presented Ms. Kargel with a City proclamation. <br /> 5.2. Presentation for Sandy Peine <br /> On behalf of the City Council, Mayor Sjoblad recognized Sandy Peine's <br /> achievements during her tenure as City Clerk/Treasurer for the City, <br /> pronounced her an outstanding employee, and extends their utmost <br /> gratitude for her years of leadership and service to the community. Mayor <br /> Sjoblad noted that when Ms. Peine was hired it was at a transitional time <br /> for the City. Ms. Peine was a savior to the City and because of her <br /> leadership efforts, the City is now in good shape. The Mayor presented <br /> Ms. Peine with a City proclamation and plaque. <br /> 6. Planning and Zoning <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Report <br /> The July 28, 2015 Planning Commission Report and the July 16, 2015 <br /> Planning Commission Regular Meeting minutes were received by Council. <br /> 6.2. Ordinance Amendment Regarding Signs <br />
