If the animal is <br /> Sent to the owner at the address given to the City Clerk's office at the time the tag is obtained. A <br /> dog so impounded shall be held by the pound master for a maximum of seven(7)days, and may <br /> be reclaimed by its owner within that time by payment to the pound master of the impounding <br /> fees and providing proof of compliance with the identification and rabies vaccination <br /> requirements of this Chapter. <br /> An impounded dog displaying a need for medical care may be taken to a ` '•arian for <br /> emergency treatment. The owner of the animal is responsible for paym=f. o ses incurred <br /> as a result of the veterinarian's treatment. , <br /> If the owner of the dog refuses to pick up the impounded dog from the pound master,the owner <br /> shall be required to reimburse the City for any costs associated with the impoundment and <br /> housing of the dog. <br /> Section 9-2.7.
