Step 6. Recommendations <br />The final report will give recommendations for the staff and council to consider. The <br />recommendations will be specific to your community. Recommendations from other <br />reports have included such topics as cash balance policies and rate structures. <br />Project Team <br />As an employee -owned firm, each of us is committed to providing the highest quality of service. As <br />independent financial advisors, our only interest is to protect our clients' best interests. <br />You will have access to several Ehlers employees. The point people will be Shelly Eldridge, Jessica <br />Cook and Elizabeth Diaz. By having a team work with you, we are always accessible to meet your <br />needs. <br />Proposed Project Timeline <br />The Utility Rate Study will be completed in seven to eight weeks, depending on meeting schedules. <br />Meeting 1: Meet with City staff to discuss goals and work plan. Receive data and other <br />information from City (as outlined in Appendix A) <br />--11 <br />Meeting 2: First draft for staff /management review approximately four weeks after initial <br />meeting. <br />Deliverables: Final draft for staff review approximately three weeks from second meeting. <br />The draft will include worksheets and report. <br />Council <br />Presentation: Scheduled at City's convenience. <br />Proposal for a Utility Rate Analysis to the Page 5 <br />City of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota January 2012 <br />
