ORDINANCE NO. 15-_, SECOND SERIES <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE <br /> REGARDING APPEALS PROCESS <br /> CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> COUNTY OF CROW WING <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes does ordain as follows: <br /> Purpose and Intent: The purpose of this ordinance amendment is to amend Chapter 17 <br /> of the Pequot Lakes City Code relating to the appeals process. <br /> Amendment: Chapter 17, Article 11 shall be amended as follows: <br /> Section 17-11.2 BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> 2. Duties of the Board of Adjustment. <br /> A, To consider appeals from the action of the Zoning Administrator <br /> wherein the Board will take the authority of the Administrator. The <br /> Board of Adjustment will hear any appeal within thirty (30) days of <br /> the Zoning Administrator's action. Said intent to appeal appeals shall <br /> be filed with the City Clerk within fifteen (15) days of the decision. <br /> Section 17-11.5 CITY COUNCIL <br /> 1. The City Council shall have the following duties under this Chapter: <br /> C. To decide within the required time frame the following: <br /> (5) To hear appeals from the actions of the Board of Adjustment and <br /> the Planning Commission where their action is normally final. <br /> Said appeals shall be heard within thirty (30) days of the Planning <br /> Commission or the Board of Adjustment action and the City shall <br /> re-notify anyone noticed for the public hearing at which the <br /> decision was made. Said intent to appeal appeals shall be filed <br /> with the City Clerk within fifteen (15) days of the decision. Said <br />
