She explained that the ordinance <br /> amendment was a housekeeping item. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 15- <br /> 04 AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE REGARDING <br /> SUBDIVISION STANDARDS. COUNCIL MEMBER KARR SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO AUTHORIZE A SUMMARY <br /> PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE 15-04. COUNCIL MAYOR SJOBLAD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 7.1. Firefighter Resignation <br /> Mayor Sjoblad stated that Dean Arnold has submitted his resignation from <br /> the Fire Department. The Council thanked Dean Arnold for his service and <br /> acknowledged his resignation. <br /> 8. Police Department <br /> 9. Public Works <br /> 9.1. Road Turnbacks <br /> Mayor Sjoblad explained that he and Council Member Karr have <br /> negotiated with the County on the County's proposal to turn back portions <br /> of Highway 371, County Road 112, and CSAH 11 to the City. The Council <br /> discussed the existing offer made by the County of giving the City an extra <br /> $100,000 for an additional block of urban reconstruction of C.R. 112 and a <br /> reduction of the City's interchange obligation from 9% to 6%. <br /> Mayor Sjoblad noted that the County has narrowed the bridge which will <br /> reduce the cost of the City's share of the interchange even more. <br />
